so anyone who has verizon and is interested in getting a new phone... the coupon code "RULETHEAIR" is fifty bucks off your phone. i'm about to get a new bionic for only the "upgrade fee" they charge now. pretty good deal imo.

starting in april, they added a 30 dollar upgrade fee on any phone. it basically screws you out of your new every two discounts. the guy i talked to earlier tried to tell me there isn't really an upgrade charge since your "new every two" negates it. i then informed him that his logic makes it so i don't get a discount because it's covering a new charge. made me rage. however my 30 dollar droid bionic makes me happy... so... i'm happy ^^.

Probably the same as an "Activation Fee" from AT&T when you get a new phone.

Basically, just an excuse to charge you extra money for getting a newer phone. Some people even get the charge dropped by complaining.

yeah... it's kind of a *** in the arse, but i got around it by ordering online. i got an extra 50 dollar discount, my 30 dollar upgrade discount, and a 50 dollar coupon code. after that i just had to pay the "upgrade activation fee", and apparently when i get the phone i have to call to change my plan to what it was. i'm... 90% sure this all went well and i'll have new phone inthe next day or two.
