I need to practice Spanish more often. When I go on site my Spanish goes from Spanish to German then people look at me like, "The hell you say, lady?!?"
German and English are the only ones I think in, but my German has gone a little to the way-side too. :/

Hmmm I was hoping to share some insight but I never bet any nukes. I was on the Kittyhawk and the Rentz so never had any onboard.
I was an IT so as long as nothing broke I could "poop" as much as I wanted.
I'd be glad for something to do at all. My one and only Naval excursion was a surprise 63 day trip aboard USS Cleveland. This was on the way home from Iraq in 2003. Had no idea what to expect, and in any case, had no way to prepare for it. We spent so much time running in circles on the flight deck out of sheer boredom that we were warned to change direction from time to time, else one leg would get stronger than the other. (Was a tiny tiny flight deck.) Only other entertainment was cards, smoking, and waiting in line to talk to one of the, like, two enlisted females. "Good times."

lol theres nothing in canada for my job to do. theyd send me to france, if i knew japanese, id be in japan all the time

I kinda know written and spoken korean (I can understand it, but if you ask me to write it i'm *** horrid lol) um... I know like 5 words in french (same with german) I should learn spanish since it's like needed if you go anywhere in florida (or anywhere ...) I need to learn ALS also for my GFs sake (she's like 99% deaf.
Knowing Spanish will help a lot with learning French! I did it the other way around, but they're so similar it helped. :3

Pretty much what she said! (And Aly kind of mentioned a similar thing.)
I learned French in HS, and all my friends took Spanish. I'd always grab their essays and read them. Since they both stem from the same roots, reading is pretty easy.
Writing and speaking, on the other hand... (I'm lucky if I can get the pronunciations right if someone asks me to speak French now. ; ; ) Not to mention, informally spoken French is like 50% gibberish to me. :(
P.S. You guys are making me want to learn another language.

Just that. He's a random low level world boss. You can solo a lot of things if you have the patience and potions.

Was working on my code for my game design class and I started thinking, women are a lot like programming. They take a lot of time and effort, you have to basically learn a whole new language, and when you *** something up the explanation for what you did wrong almost never makes any sense.
