In the future if you wanna take the time to edit little message in my posts, just save us both the time and delete it and send me a PM instead.

Yar, I'll admit the forums were sure as hell a lot more fun in the past, yet simultaneously a lot more frustrating with the folks that knew they can get away with abrasive behavior and dance delicately around vague ground rules. Only after many semi-naked pics of women, yelling, flaming, cursing, bad words and player warnings did we lose our one and only source of maintaining the site to operate. Now we can still have our cake and eat it, you just have to show a degree of self control and be a bit more conscientious about others that browse the site as well as what is okay to post and what isn't.
If you have to second guess, it probably wasn't a good idea to begin with.

Yea some things needed to be deleted but people still had fun with it and really had no serious issues with the deletions and joked about it.
I'd much rather everyone have fun than fighting with each other :\

I'm just upset because I didn't notice the edit until a while later, then I had to wait around for a response from the wrong moderator, then wait for a response from the right one. Time wasted/headaches/irritation could have been avoided by a simple PM, which is a courtesy I guess I grew too accustomed to with Krizz.
I am usually not one to complain about having a post removed/edited if I step over a line, hell I have even just straight up asked Krizz to delete my posts when he found a swear word in one and offered me a chance to edit it first. I am not upset about being moderated, just the sloppy and unprofessional way it was done.

Krizz usually didn't PM people about the reason for the removed post/edited post(perhaps unless it was super warranted?). It's unreasonable to expect mods to explain their every action when it's just small stuff.
Yes, I do think Mods should send PMs regarding potential topic bans/topic bans/warnings/temp/perma bans, but not for every little edit/post removal. It's unreasonable.

It's not their job, but then again no one is holding a gun to their heads and forcing them to be moderators. It is a voluntary position with a selection process. Whether you are employed or a volunteer, if you are going to do something do it right.

They did. Anye just happens to be a bit more light hearted about it. They address things as they come or as they are needed. There's no professionalism here, as it is not their duty, obligation, job or otherwise. Just simply doing what needs to be done whenever possible.

I did like Kali's idea of integrating an interface for mods to allow pic/post removal with a message notifying the moderator that removed the post/pic and having a small caption for the reason why. It's simple and intuitive for both the poster and mod.
