What would you do if you found out the person who's been protecting you from harms way and is madly in love with you (and you love them) and you find out that they aren't the real person they said they are? (and the real person is actually dead)

I have this friend...well, acquaintance, who randomly talk to me about things that I have no idea what they are. He starts without a context and expects me to understand...but honestly even with context I would have no clue cause he talks about obscure movies and books and other weird stuff that only he knows about. I don't know why he even thinks I'm interested at all when what I want to do is yell in his face what the fuff are you talking about and why should I care!?

All you had to do to give a desk away for free is to put it on the curb man. The magical truck comes by and picks that ***up.

Oh I do tell him I have no idea what he talks about(in much softer terms than what I wrote above), but he just insists more.

Sometimes I don't understand this.. We can put absolutely anything outside on the curb and someone will stop by and pick it up.. Not garbage men or anything, they won't take old furniture and ***, and we have one designated 'heavy trash pick-up day' a year.. Some of the ***I've put out there, I don't see why ANYONE would want it. I get like old ACs or appliances or whatever, because of the metal and there's plenty of people who drive around town and pretty much make their living off looking for scrap metal..

But I can put a box spring that's been completely broken, plus had a particularly bad (small) dog dig holes all through the sides of it, to where it has more holes than fabric covering it.. And someone will still take it!

Damn... I was looking forward to that meme...
