I used to love coconut, then I ate a handful of raw unsweetened coconut.

I'll never touch it again.

Well i can handle raw onions if its with something else like meat or w/e....


coconuts...this one time when I was young, roughly around the age of 7 or 8. My dad was making brunch (this was around 11:30am) and he poured a few glasses and left them on the counter. He says go get the glasses of milk. So being young I went to fetch the glasses, and taking mine I took a gulp of it, then i was like WHAT THE *** (but not those words, more like DSFKLSDJFSLDF BLEHEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHH) and ever since then i had this horrid taste in my mouth when i eat coconuts or taste the milk of one.


although coconut shrimp is good

I was just asking because the consistency is different, but similar to coconut.

They're really popular in Chinese food.. You've probably had them but just didn't know, if you've eaten more than one or two stir-frys in your life.. They're white and generally sliced into round disks, and they're very crunchy..

Well it's not as if American Chinese removes them or anything, you can find them even those 'skillet bag meals' of Chinese food.
