Probably assume without anyone having to tell you, The Batman is awesome. Long as ***, and has some slow parts, but awesome. (I would've liked more Zoe....)
Best Batmobile ever. Completely custom ultrawide body hybrid camaro/mustang/charger. Phenomenal.

It doesn't even have to be cyber punk. It could be gritty and realistic with a present day aesthetic. Kid stumbles upon old man when chased down by some clowns (gang at high school similar to juggalos). Old man turns out to be Batman, but he's old an sickly. Kid steals the cowl to enact his own vigilante justice after his dad was killed by his boss (now realizing the Batman he grew up fawning over isn't some superhero, but rather, just a man in a mask). The cops can't help because the boss was to well invested politically. Terry goes at it alone unsuccessfully (the aftermath creating our initial super villain). Bruce finds out about it and is inspired. He seeks out the kid and offers to train him, noting that the boss got away. Bam, movie one done.

The 4th Season of Titans might start dipping into Batman Beyond.

Movie Two:
Terry notices some of the kids getting out of hand on the sports fields. Guys gaining an unnatural amount of strength for brief periods of time. Terry decides to investigate only to find one going through intense withdrawals after a game. After copping some he brings it to Bruce to analyze. It's venom. The syrum Bane had used in years prior to out muscle Bruce. Terry's certain he must be involved somehow, but Bruce knows Terry os wrong. Naive Terry doesn't listen to Bruce and hunts Bane down only to find a withered old man in a care facility. Years of abusing venom has left him in a near vegetative state. Disheartened Terry returns to Bruce for guidance. This is when Bruce begins to teach him how to do real detective work. They track the supplier back to the boss from movie one. Terry engages the boss and nearly kills him before letting him get away.
End.

Movie Three:
Terry is at odds with Bruce. He believes it's Bruce's fault the bad guy got away and blames Bruce for holding him back. Uncertain of what to do he finds aid in the form of Commissioner Barbara Gordon igniting the Bat signal for the first time in years. She explains to him that Bruce was once like him, full of anger and hate. She begins to train Terry; but, her rule is that you can't serve justice with a mask (only with a badge). Eventually, Terry picks back up on the trail of the big bad boss while playing intern for Commissioner Gordon. As Terry ingestigates without the cloak of the Batman costume he finds his mother and brother come under fire. It's then that he realizes you don't wear the cape just to protect the city. It's to protect the ones you love and care about from getting caught in the cross fire. He returns to Bruce, his spirit reinvigorated. He dawns the cowl once more and tracks down the boss. This time he captures him for the police to deal with.

To be fair, baby bart's picture is far off in the background and the baby picture in the foreground isn't necessarily Maggie as baby Lisa could have looked like that. The timeline has not been corrupted.

Another question that have been bothering me, but this time, its a translating to english question:

This manga ends with the protagonist thinking the following statement:



Im not sure if im interpreting this statement correctly but to me, it came off as a narcissistic and egocentric declaration: that everyones else happiness is due to the protagonist, or reading in reverse, if it wasnt for the protagonist, none else would be happy.

That statement kinda bothered me tbf. Its not like it isnt a possible characterization for the protagonist: indeed, shes pictured as a very knowledgeable person in love subject, almost to the point to predict every single outcome during the story thus she spend most of the story just telling the other characters what to do to succeed in their love problems.

The thing is, shes kinda pictured as an altruistic person thus why she spend her time helping the others.

But when she breaks the fourth wall stating others “owe their happiness to her”, it kinda defeats the purpose of altruism as she doesnt help for the sake of helping, but to have the others indebt to her.

Its a valid interpretation but kinda disconcerting. Sounds contradictory that a narcissist would came off and admit that nature, because narcissism isnt a “beautiful” trait thus admitting it means accepting the narcissist isnt that Beautiful, but indeed, someone with something “ugly” inside.

Thus, im not sure if thats a correct interpretation of this statement, if maybe it was poorly translate or if i read it poorly.

man the shardbearer fights in Elden Ring get more and more spectacular as I get deeper in. based on the map im still not even 50% done, either

Cool, day zero bugs. So this cutscene, screen goes black but I still hear audio. After cutscene I could do something by pressing menus, screen turns different colour, but still black screen. Oh well, reset, redo and hope it doesn't happen again.

But! Autosave picked from where it happened, fixing problem. This is on switch version btw.

I guess its worth praising that much effort to find something even though that was given no clue of context, episode, etc, and you even managed a producer admittance despite seeming kinda obvious the production just reused the background without caring with plot.

But if you allow me, thats also sad.

That level of effort could easily be used to win the science Nobel prize about some big discovery like the origin of life, of the universe, the nature of time, the relation of time and reality, etc, but instead, that impressive effort was used to prove a theory that it had no much hope to succeed to begin with.

It was a waste.

Not that Im any better though.

I was supposed to study some subjects, read a couple of books I started, do some courses of my interest. instead, im about 40 minutes typing in FFXIAH forum.

The first time I ever ran a D&D game, I based the setting around a real-life location for the sake of realistic geography: the Bonneville Salt Flats. At work right now I'm designing a house that's going up right near where I started the party's adventure XD
