Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

Expected the map changes to simply be crystals sticking out of the ground, but it seems they've added a new stairwell leading to the top of the support pillar, so it's no longer the fantastic hiding place it was in season 1. Curious if there are more changes, but the map is too big to explore in the handful of matches I've done so far.

The new Bahamut-themed weapons are available in Bahamut-themed chests, rather than dropping from Bahamut itself. The laser cannon is fun, but has a charge-up time before firing similar to the wind-up on the Gryphon minigun. Absolutely melts players though.

And Bahamut itself isn't a rare spawn like Scorpion Sentinel or ???, but is just a constant field hazard it seems. It'll fly around the map and Megaflare a small area after a short countdown. There is a title for killing it, so I'll have to try that at some point.

Teleport materia seems cool. It's handy for getting around. Not much more to say about it.

Dragoon is really fun. I expected the jump and glide to be seperate active abilities, but it turns out the glide is just a passive. High Jump is great too; just yeets you straight up into the air, where you can then choose to crash back down for the attack, or just glide off into the sunset. Fun to use, but I can imagine it's going to be a real pain to fight against. It's alternate active ability is Dragon's Favor; increases movement speed, causes your melee attacks to inflict bleed damage and absorb MP, and recovers HP when defeating enemy candidates. Might be cool, but I'll probably stick with High Jump.
