YouTube Video Placeholder Uninstalling Facebook from my phone was the smartest thing I've ever done. I'm more productive and happier. And instead of getting filtered news through the lens of other people, I've started following sources closer to the origins of those facts.
Because you're right, RadialArcana. The fast pace of social media requires headlines that play to our emotions. And oftentimes we'll just see a headline and make our own assumptions of the contents rather than looking into it. I agree with Pantafernando as well. It's going to be an interesting couple of generations I think where we as a culture need to learn and teach how to properly filter the endless tidal waves of information being thrown our way. I dont use many social medias, none public but i do have whatssap on cellphone. While the benefits are huge as i can keep in contact with friends i dont physically see anymore, indeed every 10~15 mins i feel the urge to check it.
And i just have a couple "interaction" groups, and other where i just collect memes and stickers. Still, its a lot of time wasted not just checking but losing the concentration and recovering that state of mind to return to work. Pro and cons, its all matter of being mature to control those urges to keep the production at highest lv, and leving those whatsapp interaction to break time. my last social media was myspace, unless you count ffxi or the instagram that only 3 people have which only gets nature shots, pics of food, and pics of my car.
the amount of people that came out of the woodwork and wanted to be "friends" online was unreal, and quite frankly if i don't try to talk to someone from my past, there is a reason. i know sometimes i might get left out of the "know" or the "haps", but that's ok to avoid the headache and "i ate a sandwich, it was good... LIKE MY POST" crap. Freehugs said: » Edit: is firehouse a virginia only thing? YouTube Video Placeholder YouTube Video Placeholder Perfection. (y'w')y i've seen that story before...
Rebuild complete. Wont have the cables and UV LEDs until May but I'm happy with this already. 5-15C cooler under load and building in this thing was so easy. So many Qol features, shitload a of high quality reusable velcro ties (the ones with plastic loops) included, and even a right angle usb3 adapter.
Didn't necessarily need to swap the psu shroud end out for the shorter one but giving that bottom fan room to push cold air in probably contributed a lot to my thermal gains. And the Temps after running P95 for 30mins: And before anyone says anything, the rad is being moved up top on Monday. Needed to order screws to be able to push pull on top of the case (the top is concave to allow a set of fans on top). Final touches to the little cables up top will be done then as well after I repad the 3090. Couldn't the coler mount 90degrees counterclockwise to where the clearance ot the ram wasn't so small? Or is that model not square?

Occupy wall street was the best and worst thing to ever happen to western societies.

Clearance with the ram is better than it looks but clearance with the gpu is very tight if I try to mount it any other way Beardies are a pain in the *** hugs gl with that little *** I meant so it's pointed towards the top of the board instead of towards the ram/front of case. To be fair I sat and eyeballed the last cooler I put in for awhile before I decided on placement lol.
It's such an improvement, and screw making a custom loop. Offline

I'll never go for a carnivorous reptile, too much work.
You definitely don't want an iguana though, they're terrible pets. Mine is mercifully docile 9/10 days but most of them are not. Their houses also cost hundreds of dollars, need to be monolithic 8 foot tall enclosures custom built out of hard non aromatic woods. Easy to feed hard to everything else. With the power of a German beer, I finally have an answer to a problem I've been having for like 4 days now. I'm writing my own tabletop RPG engine and I finally came up with the perfect system for calculating damage.
My goals are to reduce the amount of math and dice, while providing a realistic approach that can scale up or down to accommodate any kind of game. You want to be an Edo-era samurai? Done. You want to pilot a giant robot? Done. You want to be an Edo-era samurai who gets flung into the future and has to learn how to pilot a giant robot? Done. It was surprisingly difficult to have the damage follow those rules, since a lot of concepts don't scale up and down very well without having rules rewritten for every scenario. I think I understand how physicists feel trying to piece together a theory that simultaneously models both the "very large" and the "very small". well i slept, but it was way too early, and i'm up too early. really vivid dream and now i feel weird and heart broken @.@

it was nice to get sleep for 8 hours though. I've only been at work for an hour and the software has already attempted an assassination on 16 hours worth of work. Thankfully it's kinda slow at deleting stuff and I can save at least some of my work by reaching over and holding down the power button to force my computer to shut down >_>;
UPDATE: Of course now because I did that, the software itself is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled. <_<; Still. That's only going to take about half an hour, and I probably saved about 10 hours of work. So a net gain for the truss designer! |
