the first real game I remember playing was uh... Half Life actually lol.
I had a ton of educational video games my parents made me play. Forgot the names, but one was dungeon based with questions to advance through it. Had a Doom feel to it.
That's honestly what got me into video games, then I said "Can I do this without the learning stuff?"

Yeah I don't count the educational games I played, although some of them I had were really fun lol.
I'm so happy! My pup is getting along great with our new dog. They've wrestled, played, and chased each other. I was scared he would play too rough with her because he's so much bigger, but he's great! :D

I'm not sure what I played first on Nintendo, but games included Zelda, a muppets game we rented from the gas station, and mario/duck hunt (of course).

I totally forgot about NES games, forget HL being first game ... it was most likely uh ... probably a Mario game lol.
my first game was super mario RPG.. but I don't remember much since I was so young. Tactics was my first game where I actually kinda understood what was going on. Before FFT I always assumed FF games were horror genre and wouldn't touch them. o.o;

My PC has, installed on it now, Fable The Lost Chapters, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Half-Life 1, Black and White, Final Fantasy XI, annnnnnnd Portal.
