If you like choice get something running Android (preferably stock Android, instead of with vendorware), if you like to be told what to do and how to do it, get crapple. As for the "aunt" get whichever you think will be easier to support.
As Sprint's Google Voice integration ends in ~3 weeks I'll be going to Google Fi when I can, that and I've been looking to get out of plans/hidden fees, so.

As a revolver nut, I'm not supposed to say this, I'm supposed to burst into flames upon physical contact with a Glock...
...but I really want a Glock 20.
It's basically the best 10mm you can buy and not have to build it out of parts like a custom 1911.
I wouldn't mind a Glock 20 LEO trade in but there's a huge problem; the FBI never used Glock and police departments who actually issued 10mm apparently did so in limited numbers.
In fact, because I like a gun that looks a little broken in and has a story, I look into the LEO trade in market pretty often and all it tells me is that most police are dropping .40 S&W for 9mm because you see tons of the former and practically none of the latter.
A 10mm S&W M&P would be nice but S&W would probably just try to peddle .40 S&W +P or something and call it a day.

Meh, I'm not a gun person, but for some reason I've always thought of getting my hands on a revolver at some point. Not for nothing, I know semi-autos can hold more ammo, but I just hate overkill like that. I'm of the mind if it's ever used and I can't put the threat down in six shots, I'll be the one going down anyway.
