I'd totally get my friend, his brother, and his brother's friend to come crash your valentine's restaurant setting, but uhh, we're a bit of a ways from Belgium Q,Q
There is nothing wrong with V-day. I actually get annoyed at the people who every year feel the need to scream left and right and pretend like consumerism outrage them when they engage in it all the time anyway. There's nothing edgy in that behaviour.

I love this game too much Pardon the interruption to your regularly scheduled programming:
*** FEDEX AND *** THE USPS FOR THEIR TERRIBLE CONTRACT TO DO FEDEX'S SHITWORK FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR. *** WHATEVER CONGRESS CRITTER THOUGHT THAT ***CONTRACT WAS A GOOD IDEA. AND *** ME FOR NOT PAYING AN EXTRA $15 FOR SHIPPING, APPARENTLY, TO AVOID THIS SITUATION. ***We now return you to your regularly scheduled whatever-the-*** anime or game I'm not familiar with that you were having perfectly reasonable discourse about.*** Having issues with USPS? Oddly enough I have no issues with them, but I know people in the city where I work have issues all the time with them (different PO).

I never had a problem with USPS until they made that idiot contract with FedEx (and, to a lesser extent, UPS). UPS almost always delivers to me though. I think the only thing I've had transferred to post office from UPS was something that was sent to me by a family member who used the absolute lowest possible shipping cost. FedEx, on the other hand, apparently is allowed to transfer 3-5 day regular shipments to the post office within 3-5 days to meet that requirement. The post office's guidelines for how and when they get it to you after they receive it are somewhat more...liberal. And whereas FedEx will leave a package for you in your mailbox (if it will fit) or on your porch if it's reasonably off the street (mine is), USPS will make you go to them to pick it up if you're not home to sign for it. My work hours are exactly the same as the post office's. Meaning I can either take off work to pick things up or go on Saturday, when they open idiotically late and close absurdly early. Also, I'm leaving for a road trip at like 5:00 AM Saturday morning. Just...so much rage. It's my own *** fault, I should have paid whatever their exorbitant additional fee was to keep it FedEx, but I forgot about this particular quirk of FedEx. Quit ordering Chinese knockoffs, Lina! XD Edit: somewhat ironically, had I ordered a Chinese knockoff of the thing I ordered about two weeks earlier, it would have been about 1/4 the price total. But...meh. I wanted a legit thing for a gift. Not a knockoff. Offline

Sylph.Shadowlina said: » i meant ups as in United states postal service. Gotta be precise! They're two different things that are involved in nearly the exact same business.
