Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Skjalf will have to assign each Mod as list of tasks as you all have missed so many rule breaking posts. :3

I'm all worked up now, this sucks.

I recall Jaerik telling me something about how equivalents to some of our profanity in Japanese are rude but don't carry the same "don't say that" weight in Japan. I forget exactly how he explained it. Anna Ruthven said: » Asura.Vienner said: » I'm all worked up now, this sucks. I forget exactly how he explained it. Sounds kinda irrelevant to me. Seems to me that on signing up for an account and agreeing to the rules the user should be responsible for understanding what is and isn't "profanity". If someone doesn't understand or know about a concept I'd say it's inherently wrong and definitely against the point of moderators to act too strongly against that person on their first or second offense, especially if you fail to provide a means of understanding. We serve far too many countries with far differing views from the US for us to automatically assume they know all of our customs and idiosyncrasies. I got my driver's license in 2010. If I don't drive often for a couple years and laws change, I am allowed to drive without regard for new laws? Negative, chill-mode disengaged. Asura.Vienner

I think this is getting blown out of context really, I just wanted an explanation why my post was removed, then some on here were very kind to explain in dummie English. Yet then I get called a moron because it can not be that I dont know what the word profanity means. That said, you really seem to be trying hard to not only back seat mod, but also be an *** about it lately. Everyone needs to calm down and stop making mountains out of molehills. The situation has been handled, and while it is appreciated that people want to support the rules, we don't need to stir the pot anymore.
Try not to worry too much about it. Google is US based so the US ideas of profanity is what was used as a base for their rules, they also take in some of what is considered inappropriate in other countries as well. So it's kinda...yeah.
But yeah, some words aren't allowed on images because images bypass the profanity filter. For some reason, so long as the video doesn't have nudity or anything similarly inappropriate (sexual stuff, gore, pineapples on pizza) YouTube videos seem to get a pass but I'm not sure why. ...Until we get a notification that they don't get a pass. EDIT: By pass, I mean a YouTube video can have vocal profanity or even show profanity in the course of the video. I dunno why this gets a pass. YouTube probably gets a pass because it's owned by google and they already do a pretty good job of cleaning up, and sometimes screwing over, anyone who would be in violation of such rules.

Youtube is weird. Some of the stuff that you can get away with on Youtube violates their own adsense policy lol.

This game is so cool though... The camera is a bit funky but after Drakengard 3s final boss it's clear the director is very "hahahaha lets *** with them using the camera", so would be delusional to expect otherwise.
