While they're not perfect I find them great for helping out some people when they start a job or if they just can't handle the multiple page text guides that go into more detail/theorycrafting when it comes to DPS rotations/priorities/damage.

14 requires wayy too much mashing.
I like pressing cure then going afk lol
Really good way to get strained playing 14 from the constant mash mash mash mash. XD
Also bad on controllers. My brother has broken 4 controllers in 2 years from 14 mashing.

Oh yes, many times until I learned the tell. It ignores shields even though it starts with a slash as well.

Also this. They're two very different characters with very different attack patterns and styles. Maria's much easier to fight imo as well.

Maria's fight was parry city. Too bad that kinda ruined the experience.
Friede is much better. People spot one similarity (zomg that's the Maria leap) and try to give the impression that it's a re-used asset. It's not. If anything, it's nice touch that the Souls games have been doing.
My friend said the Abyss Watchers fight sucked because it was basically Maria 2.0 to him. I just rolled my eyes.

@FFXIV MCHs

Everything runs off a 30s window that you follow religiously to optimize DPS. You want to pop as many cooldowns as you can for Wildfire and try to save cooldowns for the next Wildfire if the windows are lining up. Try not to clip GCDs with your oGCDs and the bulk of your damage will come from your heavily stacked Wildfires during bosses. The skill ceiling for good MCH DPS feels significantly higher than other DPS so don't get discouraged either.
