the amount of RAM that Ark eats is unbelievable. The only time I've ever seen a program munch on 14GB of memory by itself was when I loaded a poster into photoshop
Anyone play 'Marvel Heroes'? (aka 'Marvel Heroes 2016'--D2-ARPG-type beat-em-up...kind of like Marvel Ultimate Alliance crossed with Diablo 2, but all bright and sparkly and comic-booky...F2P...cash-shop is mostly costumes and buffs, not much PVP, nice community, etc.)
PCGamesN here. You've won a key for a mystery hero box on Marvel Heroes 2016!
To redeem, just click the ‘Add A Game’ button at the bottom of the Steam client window, and ‘Activate a Product on Steam’. Follow the instructions, and your mystery character should be waiting in game for you!

And just because we're feeling extra lovely, here's two keys to give to friends...
...can only use one code per account, and I have no interest in making multiple accounts, so the last two keys are free to anyone. You just redeem them on this page here (after making an account, or accessing an existing account, and the items magically show up in in-game-inventory later...)
It is a free-to-play game, but you can get all the playable charas to uncapped-level, eventually, through in-game currencies (special costumes are random or could be bought in the cash-shop.) You can play all characters to level 10 (of 60) to try them out, and after playing one to 10, you are given one free unlock (to level 60 cap.) The 7th-day log-in reward is 400 infinity-shards (in-game currency) usable to unlock whatever you like (2x 200-IS characters, 2x 175-IS random-unlock characters, 1x 400-IS character, or save for a more expensive one, or buy a team-up sidekick NPC chara instead.) This is in addition to the random unlock chara from one of the codes above, and the initial freebie.
Also, of note, 'RNGesus' makes His presence known well in MH2016...'random' really means 'random'. You can select your initial unlocked character, and then randomly get the same exact character from the item-box from the code LOL. If that happens, you get a token that increases his/her/its 'ultimate' power (basically a 10-minute-timer-default powerful skill) instead, so it's not really a waste. :p
If interested, there are more active promotional codes for the game for more completely-free junk...
...anyhow, figured I'd share since I can't use the extra codes anyway. :) IMHO The game is a fun time-waster--not super-serious, and scratches a unique comic-book-action(-and-sometimes-ARPG-grindy) game itch, if you have that type of gaming itch. :p

Try virtualization, it loves the RAM (even when you have it set to use little and to ram-share between VMs).

Took the top key, thanks! I've overlooked this game for so long, but your keydrop got me to check it out. I'm already hooked. xD
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
