Harvest Moon is different as an adult because you come to realize that the "Cow Miracle" was really just a pot of bull semen... I sunk so many hours into one of them, I think it was Back to Nature? the PS1 one.

Does a breath of fire game have a tiger guy?

Same one I spent the most time on. I was like 8 in-game years in when I glitched my dog into a wall. I accidentally put him down in the doorway after showing him to Karen, then I loaded out. He walked into empty space as it happened, when I loaded back into the store he wasn't there. I could whistle to him and he would bark, but I never got him back :(

Harvest moon back to nature was definitely my favorite by far. I've played friends of mineral town, animal parade, melody and tale of two towns. None of those have come close but to be fair BTN was my first one, so I bet I'm a bit biased?

Seems to only work with exact dupes; same card but different type won't increase the SA level, though it still increases the character level cap.

Then I did play a BoF game, I don't remember the details though, it was fun to play.

I forget a lot of the Harvest Moon subtitles but there were little things in different ones like....

A Gameboy Color version had a glove that would auto ship items you harvest.

Harvest Moon DS had an accessory that allowed you to tap the map to teleport around and a visible number for your stamina/fatigue. Also the best system in my opinion for hiring harvest sprites in teams to work for you.

Back to Nature had the BEST waifus and the actual need to work hard for 3 years or else you get booted from town.

I really enjoyed editing the town layout in A New Beginning (3DS).

Rune Factory.............

Story of Seasons (the REAL Harvest Moon) has some cool things like Weeds having a use, you turn them into fertilizer and a sometimes frustrating system where supply and demand take effect and you have to play different markets against each other. Today I shipped too many Onions and now the next time I ship them they will go down a little in price, so I bought the recipe to make them into salad because it doesn't count as the same type of item that way.

I played Save the Homeland (ps2) first and it was kinda meh, Back to Nature just had so much more to it.

I did Spath's facebook push up challenge.

I played harvest moon DS (cute? girl version I guess) for all of like 15minutes then I saw all the husbandos were super creepy old men and I'm like, I'm out

I really loved the characters in BTN, they actually had personality, presence, etc, I actually cared what happened to them. I really wanted to play the girl version to get to know the guys better but I couldn't get the buttons to work properly on the computer, so I had to manually put ***away and manually take ***out and it was just way too much effort.
I honestly don't remember anyone outside of BTN except for Cam in tale of two towns because that *** kept rejecting my advancements!

The main characters are (official romanizations not yet confirmed):


Izetta, the descendant of a family of witches. She can cast a spell on anything she touches and manipulate it at will. Since she was young, she and her grandmother lived their lives on the road, travelling between European countries in order to hide the power.
