We need to focus more on being equal and finding peace with one another than highlighting our differences and stereotyping. So no, I will not see the movie, I will not support Paul Feig and his "the other boys used to hit me" tantrums, and I will choose to dislike the film because I can.
I feel that a movie supporting radical ideas should fail as they aren't good for society. A man is no better than a woman just because he's a man, a woman is no better than a man just because she's a woman.

One thing I have heard that is outside of the feminist stuff is that Leslie Jones's character was written in the format of the stereotypical sassy black woman which isn't that great for someone who wants to break barriers and whatnot.

had to google that movie as i never heard of it.
I actually know a heavyset, loud, foul-mouthed woman named Tammy so it may just be that it was that much funnier to me because of that.
