As an American I don't remember what happened last year let alone 1846 !

Corona Light is (imo) the best alcohol-per-calorie beer on the market for those looking to have a few and keep calories under control while still enjoying your beer and getting a bit tipsy.
There are a handful of beers that the calorie per ABV is better, but they're either Michelob Ultra (meh) or shitty, shitty low shelf stuff (Natty Light, Beast, etc.)
Corona Light has become my go-to beer if I just want to grab a sixpack to go. Yuengling/Yuengling Light is another staple, though admittedly regional so I don't even know why I mention it to someone in Italy.

Hm. We weren't supposed to get this until after the anniversary. Guess they don't want a month of event reruns before it. Wonder if we'll be getting anything else early.
