Full of documented cases of people who were murdered for being transgender.

I cannot cite a source nor can I remember the specifics but isn't there some exponentially greater chance (based on actual reported cases to the police) of a tranwoman being the victim of assault in a men's room vs. being peeped in the ladies room by anyone, let alone a transwoman?
That is exactly why it's kinda a big deal... But people want to look at it as traspeople wanting to use X bathroom as a comfort thing rather than a safety one.
Here's the other odd thing about it: It's almost always (but not exclusively) the men who are coming up with the ridiculous notion that transgendered people are some kind of sexual deviant who are only going to use the women's bathroom to peep on women in the bathroom. Yet there's been no documented cases of it happening (that I am aware of, and if there is, I'm sure someone will correct me), but there are literally tons of cases of people in authority placing hidden cameras in the women's restrooms/change rooms/showers/etc. that these same people choose to ignore, or simply pass off as "well, it's a guy thing to do, no harm no foul", or scream discrimination at the top of their triggered internet lungs.

I entered and found this woman who yelled at me who are you, go away, I'm calling the guards! I panicked and killed her. Then I panicked more for what I did and threw her body in the river. I'm officially a psycho.
Oh, and I killed her chickens for no particular reason.
