I think that's the kind of hawk that used to live in my back lot till. They are protected by law I think. Old man down the road passed away and his son gave me one he'd killed and had stuffed back in like...the 60's. No idea on the legality of owning it so I gave it away.

A friend of mine has been staying at my house since January, was supposed to just be for a little while as he had a substitute teaching job til March. Hadn't paid me any rent until the other day, and I've decided to kick him out at this point. I'm very sympathetic towards people with no place to stay, but it's at the point where he's straight up taking advantage of my hospitality.
