He seemed like somebody who's being controlled, not the one who's supposed to be controlling.
Gene Hackman played Lex much better.
He just sucks and is quite possibly the worst choice ever for Lex Luthor.

but his role is small enough that overall I still liked the movie as acceptable.
He dominated the movie. I don't know how you could think he had a "small" role. I never liked Affleck being cast, but I was far more concerned with Eisenburg as Lex, and from the second I saw the first trailer those concerns just turned to disgust.
Lex is an intellectual that doesn't like Superman, he isn't batshit insane, we have a batshit insane villain in the DC universe known as the Joker and no one needs to imitate him because they will fail everytime.
With all the hate Affleck had over the role of Bruce Wayne, his acting was probably the best of them all.
I wish they did more into Wonder Women's role in the story a little bit more.

Well if you think about it, lex should be an older person just as alfred should be. they are grown men, so the butler should be older and lex luthor should be older...since lex apparently has money...and since when does a guy that looks like he is 19 can pull off being the villian....it only reminded me of the facebook thing. Ben Affleck had a better Batman presence than a Bruce Wayne presence. But part of that comes down to how the roles were written.
Anyways, the biggest issues arising from the movie, are how Lex Luthor is portrayed. They took creative licensing to a whole level, and killed what Lex Luthor was. And turned him into the real kryptonian abomination...

This movie was long enough. DC is going about this all wrong because they want to replicate Marvel's incredible financial success from the MCU. Marvel took the actual time to give each of their characters either their own movie (or more than one) and introduce each one, then make an Avengers movie.
DC made Man of Steel and then bam, Batman vs Superman, with a brand new Batman. No introduction before hand we are just going to cram it into this movie and go with the fact that everyone already knows who Batman is. What they should have done is make a standalone Batman movie before this one, and possibly a Wonder Woman movie (could have introduced her in Batman), then make this movie.

Yea, but even if it was a young person, at least have him look around Superman's age than a 19 yr old with high voice. I would watch it if it was Patrick Stewart as Lex Luthor than eisenburg. lol
