Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
You know what advertising needs to really stop. The Taco Bell Quesalupa. That thing is straight up garbage.

Well, I mean, I'm still going to defend cheap, terrible quasi-Mexican cuisine here because it's tasty no matter how many people tell me how terrible it is for me or what terrible thing it's made from. That said, I couldn't agree more about advertising. Worthless. Can't remember the last time I bought something because I saw or heard it advertised. The crappy thing is all the cheese goes to the bottom of the shells when it gets shipped, so it is nothing like that, its just a taco with a big ball of cheese at the bottom.
The worst feeling in the world is when you are trying to remember a password and windows does the spinning circle Welcome for 2 minutes.... and then tells you it was wrong again.
taco bell is bad and you should feel bad for going there!!!
all of your taco bell intestinal distress is karmic. Foodha, the god of food, frowns down upon you. Your penance is four hours of misery on the porcelain pew of shame! I thought they were something you took pride in. Oh you Northerners and your shitty Tex-Mex foods.
Have a tamale. Or a Mole Enchilada. Or a Barbacoa taco. Or if you are really adventurous, some Menudo streaming some fail attempts in The division

Your problem is you think cheap fast food takes anything away from those dishes. Those look amazing and I would happily nom them over Taco Bell 100% of the time given the option and all things being equal. But this is real life, where all things are not equal. And sometimes quick, easy, cheap tacos to get you through the day are just what you need. Just like a cheap fast food hamburger doesn't mean ***compared to a real grilled 8 oz 80-20 patty on a brioche bun with Irish whiskey cheese, fried onions and homemade whiskey bbq sauce. But they're both good in their own way. The latter much more so, but that doesn't invalidate the former. Ramyrez said: » Asura.Kingnobody said: » Oh you Northerners and your shitty Tex-Mex foods. I forget where, but I had a really good fish taco once. That was the bomb diggity.

How is Taco Bell compared to a Mexican restaurant up there in Penn? It depends where you are. Were you in NYC? Anywhere with a large immigrant population you should be able to find good, relatively authentic Mexican/Mexi-American cuisine. Taco Bell is fast food. Just like my burger comparison, you can get fast food and you can get dine-in actual meals somewhere. I really don't know why people always try to equate Taco Bell to real Mexican food. No one who eats there (should) be under the impression that there is anything but a vague similarity in names and structures of some of the foods. The Mexican fare here in my exact area is so-so ever since the best restaurant went out of business due to the owner being involved in a cocaine ring. If you head into Pittsburgh you can get some okay stuff if you look hard enough. Head up to Erie, though, and you can find some really, really excellent places because Erie has a large immigrant population from a lot of different places, including central America. A couple of the places I really like have food that looks pretty much exactly as pictured by you. Grumpy Cat said: » I forget where, but I had a really good fish taco once. That was the bomb diggity. Best fish tacos I've ever had were at Mangrove Mama's on Summerland Key, Florida near Key West. Not really authentic Mexican at all, but there were really *** good anyhow. heh noticed mag is playing division ;o

It was basically just their same chalupa with a very thing layer of cheese around the bottom lol. Taco Bell still so tasty though.
