Back in my day it was called a VCR but I can't find the equivalent of that. I thought the new thing was called a "DVR" because that's what the guy from Direct-TV called it when he got my cable all set up, but when I look up DVR all I get are surveillance/security equipment...

Their website sort of looks like cable service to me

The Mechs (Skells) have a Frame level.
You can be a level 58 person, but if your skell is level 30 then it'll basically be a boosted level 25 or so (with ridiculous HP).

If you want to wreck stuff with a skell you need:

1) Level 50 (60 if you complete the story missions)
2) CREDITS
3) Patience :/

I'm about 200 hours in and I'm still using a level 50 skell (worth 4,3 million credits). I'm painstakingly grinding the items to build an even better one now though...
