Easily remedied. After you break the plates over his head and drop the fly on his face, as he lays there in a bloody dazed and confused state you lean in and whisper, "Do the dishes." Then you walk out and pretend like nothing happened.

He will be so terrified that he will clean up the mess and do the dishes from then on.

We don't live with them.
My mom wishes my brother's gf would be wife-like and mom-like she is(never gonna happen).
My dad doesn't care about such things and thinks the problem will sort itself out when the two start living together.
