The person said it was garage kept with original 44K miles, that's pretty impressive for any car. With most parts pretty standard from 1979 to 1989, there should still be some market to get any parts if needed.
I have noticed more people lately going back in years on cars, it's the retro look I guess. I see that lately with Toyotas also, people driving early 1980's.

The 44k mileage was what surprised me. I didn't see a Prelude as a garage queen.
I don't know why this car was selected, but this was the first year Preludes came to American, also this was manufactured in Japan.
I was checking a few places near me that let you scrap and pick parts, just curious if anything was around, nada..it's not that I would put a used part of that age onto another car, but there's times someone mentions a car and at the scrap yards, it's fun to check the car out, take some parts off and sometimes they will off a super cheap price if you are a regular.
I wouldn't mind getting a Honda engine to break down and rebuild, it just sucks I don't have the space anymore. :/
