They are insane. If someone does anything that goes against their dogmas they get completely shut off the community. They stop talking to them even if they're right in front of them and pretend they don't exist like they're 2 years old. And this applies to family too...

There's even a more insane thing about transfusions cause they believe the soul is in the blood so they're against them and would let even their own children die if they needed one.

I think they'd have their kid taken from them here if they tried that

I don't know if it's in all countries, but many things that might seem obviously against the law are actually beyond it cause "protected as culture". For example gypsies can actually do bridenapping and no one can do anything about it <_<

FromSoftware to Establish New Studio in Fukuoka in October 2015

Tokyo, September 12, 2015 – FromSoftware, Inc. is establishing a new development studio in Fukuoka, Japan next month.

FromSoftware has been actively developing video games for various platforms and they will continue to do so. The establishment of the new studio will expand their development capabilities to create globally competitive products.

The Fukuoka studio will focus on creating 3D CG assets for games while working closely with the original studio in Tokyo.

Fukuoka and its surrounding areas are easy to reach from Tokyo and these areas have enormous potential as there are a number of passionate young people and rich living environments. FromSoftware has high hopes that these high-potential areas contribute to build good development environments that lead them to greater quality and creativity.

One of the most boring, hipster-BS-laden episodes of Adventure Time won the Emmy over one of the most touching animations (if you're a weepyhearted person) with some of the most interesting and dark implications (completely destroying a character who had been placed on an unreachable pedestal) of Steven Universe...

This is Gretchen winning season 8 all over again. (though with less BS cause at least Adventure Time is noteworthy... unlike Gretchen.)

I have never heard of those shows. Looking at Steven Universe with it's inspiration on 70s and 80s Japanese animation I can say I sure approve it's design. LOL

Anyway by what you say, it also follows the kind of story writing shows like Speedy Racer had, right? I'll look that show up as it sure looks interesting. (But one having their belly button as powers source sure sound as weird/wacky as one would expect a CN/Nick cartoon to be, huh? lol)

And finally, expect fairness from something like Oscar or Emmy is... Naive. >.>

Watching a show with a segment about WWII and it shows a reenactment-type scene with Nazi soldiers, they are carrying M1 Carbines which were U.S. guns used by paratroopers, medics, mechanics, etc. >.>

It's like watching Air Crash investigation and see the actor manipulating a SCSI hard drive circuit board pretending it's from a cockpit voice recorder or a flight data recorder ...
