Within the context of the show,(with their images they are posting) i think it's supposed to be seen as something mildly innocent, seeing as it's one of very few modern anime with main characters who are gay/transgender, and Very openly so too.

I am so pleased at the rate Squeenix is embracing PC gamers. Seriously, I am outright ecstatic that we're getting these ports of older FF titles. Now we just need VI, IX, X, XII, and XV when it comes out and I can be 100% content.

Yes, but I'm more than willing to support and give money to the devs/publishers that are willing to go out of the way to re-market their retro games and make them readily accessible for purchase and play for the PC market. I'm kind of tired of re-buying my old games though various console marketplaces when my PC is the central hub for everything.
General rule for me is, if it's out of print and no longer being marketed (thus no longer posing as a profit point for the creators), I'll emulate/pirate as a last resort.

Yeah, I'm a bit bummed about the mobile sprites too; but perhaps if we bug SE enough it could be possible to patch in the option to go retro-mode with the SNES sprites and backgrounds. Kind of like what they did for FFIV Complete on PSP. They even gave you the option to use the original or remastered soundtrack too.
Order placed.
Was either buy this one for $14 or wake up at 6 in the morning, drive an hour to the nearest Toys R Us, stand in line for 3 hours, pay $13 for it, and drive an hour to get home.
Think the $14 was the better choice.
