But they are Pringles though.

A Kool-Aid pickle might not be that weird tasting if done right... Pickling eggs in different colors might be fun. A hint of Cherry Kool-Aid in dill pickle might be good on a charred bbq chicken burger or pulled pork. The citrus flavors should be pretty easy to use without making it weird. Bread and Butter are the only ones I make that have any sugar in them, and I go easy on the sugar because I like the tartness to remain. Ever try watermelon rind pickles? Ever grown herbs? (Mine always died lol) If a collective of people collectively agree on the name of something it is it's name!
I remember watching an ep where they drove through South America, I think it was Jeremy decided to cut vent holes in his hood after brush he ran over busted his cooling fan. The sparks off of this set the soft top of a Land Cruise (I think it was) on fire, Jeremy calmly told them to "just pour beer on it, it'll be fine."
If Pringles even calls their product Potato Crisps and not "pringles", I'll continue calling them crisps.

Quote: They were originally known as "Pringles Newfangled Potato Chips", but other snack manufacturers objected, saying Pringles failed to meet the definition of a potato "chip". The US Food and Drug Administration weighed in on the matter, and in 1975, they ruled Pringles could only use the word "chip" in their product name within the following phrase: "potato chips made from dried potatoes".[14] Faced with such an unpalatable appellation, Pringles eventually opted to rename their product potato "crisps" instead of chips. This later led to other issues in the United Kingdom, where the term potato "crisps" refers to the product Americans call potato "chips".[15] taken from the wiki Kalila said: » If Pringles even calls their product Potato Crisps and not "pringles", I'll continue calling them crisps. I've never seen them with Crisps written on the tube in brit land.
Jello isn't vegan.

A chip, here, refers to simply slicing a potato, and taking that slice and cooking it to make a chip. You could even go as far as saying the chip is crispy, making it a crisp. So it doesn't even matter ;0 So much good food going to waste. D:
Besides, pringles only contain 40% of potato anyways.
It's not "you guys", it's on the can itself. Pick up a can sometime and look at the fine writing (I was bored one day). It's on there, every single can, at least here.
More examples: Between the name Pringles and the flavor. |
