Also, it's kinda obvious why you'd perform well.
Either their celebrity-like status makes you want to impress them(like you would a parental figure at younger ages), or you fear the chance of being on camera and caught doing badly.

If I'm thinking of the right person her voice is amazing.
I wouldn't be surprised if i've been paired with some youtube peoples... but I generally don't pay attention to anyone else unless it's important.
