Actually, there is enough Fast Cast available to do that.
Considering there are 2 terror spells, or i could simply use Binding spells, or various stun spells.
You'd get the chance to hit me once with SA, your other would most likely be stunned, terror'd or paralyzed. And still end up a heap of messy dorknerd on the ground.
Because i wouldn't even need to draw my weapons.

So you'd have to hit me with your puny daggers first. Then break my barriers, and proc silence. While the first hit of a SA would go through Occultation, you would have to then manage to hit me through 10-12 shadows. So in short, you'd still be owned.

Plenty of spells have more than enough range and speed with enough FC and Mavi body.
However, the smartest thing to do would be to cast Whirl of Rage followed by a sleep spell, like Pinecone Bomb, or Dream Flower.
So I Reiterate, you could smack me, and then i would end you.

Latency plus flee speed makes it impossible KN; Even a red Mage chainspelling the second I flee within 11 yalms might still miss it.
Plus, Thunderbolt has a range of 15 yalms, you would have to had pop flee on, already engaged and auto-target, hit once, and run away hoping that they didn't see you beforehand.
Thunderbolt also has a 3.5 second casting time, but it really would be near 2 seconds before it went off due to cap gear haste and normal fast cast traits from normal spells. Add in Erratic Flutter Haste 2 effect, which any BLU would have on them at all times, and you wouldn't even be able to run into range if they target you and started casting the spell when you are in range.

No, blu is *** in pvp with ranging most spells; not sure who told you they work at increased distances.
