They always try to turn the argument around to their favor, failing that, they look for one thing you might do that they can harp on and get angry over.. Like they're grasping at straws.. I'm sad, my kitty is missing for 2 days now :/
Okay, so imagine you're all cool and have MGS alert ringtone for notifications on your phone. (Yeah cliche I know, but I have a f'ing Motorola Photon)
So anyways I'm sneaking around in the kitchen gettin' a midnight snack, and my phone has been silent ALL DAY LONG. Not a single notification, and I'd been using it at work.
So I use my phone as a flashlight to see what I'm doing. What does it do? "NEW EMAIL, RRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!" and not only scared the ***out of me, but made me think I woke everyone up (not even 20 feet from sleeping people).
Gotta love them Android phones.

That's beyond hilarious...I've had that same problem many times though, I don't have a cell phone so the loud noise that usually scares me to death and makes me think I woke everyone up is my shin bashing the coffee table OR me accidentally stepping on the cat...
When it's the cat I usually have aminor heart attack while trying to say "oh my gosh kitty I'm so sorry!" at the same time...also, my apologies are usually what wakes up my kids...
