It's going to a buddies garage either tomorrow or tuesday. Not looking forward to the bill.

I'm the opposite. I'm the kind of guy who would lend the car to his brother (no sisters, here) have it get destroyed, then get another one and let that brother borrow that one.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I can be a bit of an empathetic schmuck.

I knew that I would get my car back in a more 'worn' condition.. but she called me from the side of the interstate crying because her SUV broke down and she 'didn't have anyone else she could ask' for a vehicle, and if she missed more work 'she would be fired'.. it was only supposed to be 3 days, but that turned into 2 weeks as her b/f and his father were very lazy about fixing her truck.

All well.

Even if she pisses me off all the time, breaking down during rush hour on the interstate is an abysmal feeling.

Hopefully I can atleast get her to cover half of the bill.

Not counting on it though.
