Yeah it was, most of the Command and Conquer games from 10~ years ago had better CGI. Truly. FFXIV 1.0's sendoff CS was much much better.

Upgrading my windows ... couldn't find my windows 7 ghetto disk my friend burned me, so I just bought 8.1 -_-

I would stick with 7 personally but I imagine at some point I'll get 8.

From what I have seen it looks pretty good, I wish I had got my student discount but MS is being all dickish about it ... but whatever :x
I mainly did it to get a fresh start :p and I wanted to upgrade for awhile anyway lol.
Last time I upgrade was from Vista. And Vista was just terrible.

Vista's best feature was the ability to turn off User Account Control.
The ***that pops up every single time you try to do something and covers the whole screen is annoying though
My favorite was when they tried to say that Vista wasn't bad, it was just that it had a lot of bad hype from a bumpy launch, so they did the Windows Mojave commercials, where they reskinned Vista as Mojave and asked people's opinions.
So, go online, check it out. People weren't actually allowed to "use" Windows Mojave, but only watch as a survey employee used it in front of them.

I'm lazy and still use vista even though I have a copy of 7. It's annoying but I haven't had an issue out of it in a very very long time. It really just takes quite a few tweaks and it works pretty well. (Turning UAC(The ***that pops up every single time you try to do something and covers the whole screen) off and disabling a lot of background services).
My laptop has 7 on it and I love it so much more though. Think I'll upgrade my desktop to 7 when I get my SSD this X-mas.
