Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

Tonight right before we all went home for the night, one of the administrators was walking a customer around, showing them how things are made and what goes on behind the scenes and so on. Well, three of the guys from traffic assembly (my area) were in the same production area that the customer and boss were in. And I wasn't there, but the powder coating boss came in and told my boss that he better get out there, because they were having a conversation among themselves that was so vulgar and inappropriate that she was embarrassed that the customer saw her in the same room with them.

And my boss basically said "boys will be boys" and went home for the night.

We are always supposed to be behaving at work, and when there's a customer in the building, we're to be on our best behavior, and when the customer is in the same room as we are, we are supposed to shut our mouths so the customer can hear the tour and work like we're supposed to be working all the time. I cannot believe that three of my guys were being so horrifying in front of a boss, let alone a customer! Just because the two main bosses are gone doesn't mean we can't get in trouble, holy smokes! That reflects really poorly on the entire company and everyone in it, when our workers act vulgar at work. Egads.
