Yes I know but you need to do KS99 now to get the pop item for him so I would have to do KS99 first in order to pop him. The others are really easy solos just I haven't tryed the ks99 yet.
You can solo the Behemoth and Wyrm KSNM on BST?
no adamantoise and aspid

Attempted to solo Kutharei. Got it to 4% before I died. If you were lucky, you could definitely solo it. I got pretty unlucky as it used Banneret Charge 7 times in a row at which point Reward, Familiar and Call Beast were down and I had used a Revit. I don't have Pet MDB axes so that would've been helpful and I didn;t realize Diabolic Claw gave a pretty nasty Magic Defense Down.
Atmas: Ducal Guard, Mounted Champion, Razed Ruins
Pet: NurseryNazuna (for it's HP).
I found that Kutharei tends to cast Wind spells more than Fire spells so I called out DipperYuly. However, its accuracy is pretty high even with Pet Evasion axes and Spiral Spin.
Full PDT-%, swapping in MDB-% before nukes, a decent Reward set w/ Pet Robo's and you're looking at a pretty fun/challenging solo.

It's definitely possible. It's just a matter of how much Dawn Mulsim you want to piss away.

13 Dawn Mulsum , 1 reward with Epsilon food , 1 jugs Funguar used
I didnt prepare this fight , just bought 20 DawnMulsum ,jugs ,petfood
I used Dawn mulsum to ~ 50% so its easy to down this number
12min29s 'cause I prefer to go with a Call Beast up.
Dawn Mulsum's hp : 904,596,635,601,599,774,616,952,671,662,918,1118,1068
Reward: 820 hp

noticed no one mentioned this yet so i'll go..
Sedna (and both NMs required to pop it) is a ridiculously easy solo for BST using FatsoFargann, because all 3 of them are water based.
Sedna itself doesn't have any threatening TP moves either...
Hross is a little annoying with hate reset if you get hit by its conal/aoe attacks even once.
with fairly decent gear, Iku-Turso only takes me 1 zeta, Hross 2 and i lost count on Sedna but that one will take quite a few biscuits to kill and approx 20-25min
I use DG/MC/RR and the same pet on all 3.
i'm guessing Louise will work too but I havent tried that yet cos I quite enjoy drainkiss

I tried to solo Myrmecoleon as BST/DNC once when I had some extra time in Tahrongi.. It's definitely soloable, I got it to 10% before It decided to use Gravitic Horn back to back on Dipper, and Call beast wasnt up. Just the normal EVA set; x2 Guichard's axe +2, Cloak and Dagger/Razed Ruin/Mounted Champion. I threw in some Pet onry gear like Beast bazubands and DT/Haste augmented Anwig. The way the adds pop, is usually in your favor, They attack someone whose NOT at the top of the hate list, and if you're doing it right, Dipper should be at the top. The adds die rather fast from Melee swings, and in between pops i melee the NM with Dipper, maybe that's why i wiped xD

Myrmecoleon Might be easier with Ducal Guard than going full Evasion on pet.
I tried doing Hedjedjet today, got to 11% and ran out of Pet foods(38 used), so just ran, I knew there was no way I could win with that massive Poison, which was the only issue. However, the fight takes an extremely long time, which was probably part of my downfall.
Ducal Guard - Razed Ruins - Apocalypse
Used Nazuna once, did okay, but Swift Seighard seemed to be the best, saving TP for Chomp-rush slow really helped. I'd say that the killtime+Potential cost (50k or so) makes the battle not particularly reasonable, though it's certainly possible. If you get caught without Call Beast up for some reason, Hedjedjet is fairly easy to kite with Skadi's Reeboks.

Eh, i have a full PDT set but i've been favoring EVA lately, Dipper had no problem not getting hit, and unless PDT will reduce Gravitic Horn damage i think EVA will win overall.. i'll try pdt out though.

Ducal Guard is just a straight -50% Damage taken, not just PDT. Other than that, I'm not too sure. Some abilities marked as "Magical" are still reduced by Physical Defense equipment.
Honestly, there's not many harsh trade offs for using Ducal Guard now. I could never use Voracious Violet outside of LolXP on BST, so I'm usually swapping Gnarled horn in (Full Evasion Yuly) or Ducal Guard (HNM busting).
Maxing Beast Healer and a Full PDT set is pretty rad though, it usually gives around 5minutes of loltime, when the mob can't even overcome the regen of a Zeta.

My BST isn't geared well enough for difficult solos. Most notable thing I soloed, as of late, was WoTG's Nation on A Brink. The only thing that made it difficult was the low HP NPCs. I feel like a "special" BST compared to other people's solos. lol
I think Imma try to solo Bahamut in Storms of Fate once I get back. I still haven't finished that. :x

Pet: Flowerpot Merle
atma's: Ducal Guard, Mounted Champion, Gnarled Horn
bestia breeches pet SB 8
bestia mufflers pet SB 5
Adaman/armada sollerets pet SB 6
Aegis doublet (optional) pet SB 3
Flowerpot Merle Job MNK: SB IV = 20
total : 39/42 pet subtle blow and 50 AGI (agi reduces TP feed now)
DT cap 87.5%/87.5%
ducal guard 50%/50%
pdt axes x2 20%/0%
anwig 10%/10%
oner back 3%/0%
selemnus belt 0%/3%
Shepherd's chain 2%/2%
Stoutservant II 6.7%/6.7%
total 87.5%/71.7%
Been playing around with this lately. With a similar set up b4 the pdt nerf i was able to solo chloris without ever seeing a doom TP move. But that was combining the loss of tp from chloris hitting for 0. I still find it effective even now as it drastically reduces the number of WS's u see. This set up can be very helpful for NMs like Hedjedjet (his poison aura is the main threat and it only comes after he uses "Venom Breath") when reducing the frequency of TP moves can avoid nasty side effects.
some other nice sides to this set up
Counter 20%ish chance.
Regen 1 natural
Some downsides: certain forms of regain can undermine this set up.
Flowerpot merle does not resist most spells well.
All in all, definitely worth putting into ur arsenal

With Ferine Legs+1/+2, Beastmaster should have the Third Tier of Stout Servant, at an estimated 9% damage reduction. Not sure how legit the data on the Wiki Talk page was, but it might make Sheperd's Chain uncessary for hitting the DT roof.
Specifically in regards to Hedjedjet, Subtle blow will work, because his AI dictates that his Cast-Ability is not based on TP. He can still use other TP moves as following the standard rules, usually Venom Storm, though occasionally Wild Rage.

Yeh, i know. In my listing u will see i used the leg slot for the 8 subtle blow from bestia breeches. I cant wear Ferine legs and Bestia breeches at the same time. But even with the 9% u still arent hitting the MDT cap.
But i still prefer to use Shepherds chain whenever its appropriate. With gear and ducal u still cant reach the MDT side cap, landing 13.5% short. And if im fighting sumthin with a steady flow of magic dmg i prefer to have my defenses set up properly. the 2% DA from ferine neck is great and all but its just not enuf of a buff to go all crazy over. Id rather have my defenses covered and just macro in offensive pieces during a pet TP move.
Ultimately tho i dont follow any hard fast rule about wich to wear. I make sure to collect all the pet adjustment gear i can. And then i personally change the set depending on the NM im going to fight. What i wear depends on which NM i fight and what i do during those fights. Getting stuck into a "this is BEST" mindset is fine for a boring straightforward DD job, but it really doesnt work at all for bst. There is no "best jug" or "best pet stat set" and to try and pigeonhole the job robs it of one of its major strengths... Adaptability.

I meant i have full PDT gear outside of DG, i know it's Damage taken not phys damage taken. guichard's axes/+2 pants etc etc. And truedat, I'm pretty sure i only use VV for DD onry purposes... I've been spoiled inside of abyssea and fast killing, thats why i use RR instead of DG. Ima try out that NM again and see what i can do. Thanks though
I didn't see a topic for this, so I figured I might as well make one. What do you fellow BSTs solo these days?
