The Higurashi Series, for pure awesomeness.

K-ON! it's moe-moe crazy, much like another fan favourite, Lucky Star, but, I still love it.
DearS, Chobits (sometimes To Love Ru) are similar, and all pretty cool.
Angel Beats! is amazing too; an action-ish story, but has deep moments in it too. But it's too short :(
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, because it's awesome too.
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, it's something completely different, and hilarious to boot.
Full Metal Panic (and Fumoffu) have their good parts too.

I´d say the 2 evangelion movies , loved them on the first sight.
also Karas was awesome actionwise but a bit boring inbetween

Never understood peoples' attraction to Blood: the last vampire, what with its lack of ending.
As to the live action movie. Was a blast. OMG when that vampire transformed I almost died. Laughing. But bloodshedding in the movie was nice. ^^

I love Elfen Lied, D; its sad especially the manga. Though its gets weird at times, still one of the best imo.

haven't seen jojo's bizarre adventure, wiki art image looks similar to fist of the north star from a cursory glance but I may be wrong on that lol.
it had a capcom game so i'd imagine it might be more like street fighter anime art or something.
Not sure if these got thrown in the mix but Basilisk and Trinty Blood are very good series as well.

they play an intro and then seamlessly transition into the opening and i love it.

I just watched Berserk over the last week. I feel kinda let down, like there is a lot more they could have done, the ending just left me kinda pissed off an wanting to see Guts kick some more *** inside out. Think I am going to look into getting some of the manga to see more about what happens.
