There's no practical use for a dnc tank, even if they could do it. They have better roles they could be fulfilling

but on another note dnc can can deal more dmg per ws than pld @ 80 and can tank for the pt and hate does not need to be bounced around un less a blm magic bursts

Ok then here is a tip for next time: Don't make a thread with the title job vs job (and what makes this case even worse is that your taking a job that is 100% ment for tanking and putting it against a job that has at best 1 or 2 tricks to let it tank)

I don't think I've ever seen a dnc keep hate after just 1 nuke per min from a decent blm.

There's no reason to have a dnc tank. If you have 2 dncs, put them in diff pts and have haste samba active for 2 sets of DDs rather than one. If you have one pt, stick to one dnc.

You know what will get more hate than dnc 2hring cure bombing? Yeah pretty much any DD using there 2hr lol. Or just a blu/pld using normal jas/spells

Need TP too, dual daggers is a lot of tp feed to a mob. PLD gets the bonus of attonement with its tp feed.

It's not a question of if you can blood tank or not, it's a question of why would you want to? There's no benefit to it and you take more damage than a blink tank.
