I bought all my fish, although it's not as bad as it sounds given that I went 1/14 and 1/15, so I barely spent any gil at all. The trouble was finding Gugrusaurus on the AH, but once people realized they were selling well at the moment people started semi-flooding the auction house. 1/6 Opal Silk, and 1/64 Saber Shoot. :) 51 Fishing, time to get it to 78 <.< lol
1/600ish Opal Silk (got pissed and stopped counting) and 1/50ish Saber Shoot. Had a friend help me with Lik and I also caught my own. I attemped to fish my own Gugs and failed so I just bought them. I am still 99.7 fishing, cannot seem to get the last .3 =(

Congratulations! Got both items last saturday within 3min lol - 1/192 Gugru - 1/392 Lik. Now I don't wanna see Zaldon for the next few weeks <,<;
Edit: *** you SE - wanna use my Ebisu on Mule too - make it deliverable :3 Finally got the urge to try and finish(i.e. even get my 1st item), fishing 100, I went and got ww to 72 on a mule to repair my rod, I go out and fish 35 lik.
and 0/677 ofc. posting for a friend. He has been working on lvling fishing on both his characters.
He went 2/6 on saber shoots between the 2 characters. Edit: So being serious and hating him right right now.
