It's moments like these which makes FFXI a special game. Where fans of the series can bunch together and overcome obstacles. We grinded for over a year to become strong enough to tackle what the game has to offer. We're not hardcore players, none of us are elitist, we don't show off and we always have time for those who need help. We win and lose like a family. When we lose, we come together to figure out why. I've always hated having to lead stuff, but these guys make it easy. I've always found the best group of players are those who do what you want, before you even thought of asking them too. They take it upon themselves to do what is right given the situation, and that's due to practice, it's due to listening. It's due to wanting the best for everyone there. We don't have a LS bank. We don't have a points system. We don't have hoarders, we pass items/gear to whoeever needs it most. And we're not closed off to the world, we'll take anyone who is willing to do what they can to win. I already said my thanks in our post in the Cerberus sub-forum. So when someone says you need to be on a populated server to make an Aeonic, let it be known that it doesn't matter how many players are on the server, so long as you can find a nice, small group of players who want to succeed, then anything is possible. It might take longer, but the journey is always better than the destination. We wear our Aeonics with pride, and we'll keep going as long as this remains fun. Peace out. At long last I have finished my prolonged goal! I want to thank anyone and everyone who helped me farm Kirin, farm Aspidechione, or King Behemoth. Collecting the abjurations was only half the work; a big shout-out to all the saintly crafters who randomly crafted the pieces and waited patiently for them to sell. I know this isn't a 119 R/M/E screenshot (probably does not compare) but, as a seasoned trophy-hunter this 3-year hunt coming to its conclusion is worthy of being my 1st screenshot ^_^ (P.S: I apologize for low-quality of the pic, I don't do this very often, if not, at all)At long last I have finished my prolonged goal! I started this weapon back in 2012 when I was still living in Korea, and was never able to finish due to me moving to California for my career and me ultimately taking a break. It has been a project since 2012 and I finally finished it! First and foremost I want to thank Fthis and Milkydoll for helping me out with assaults, and Nyzul! If it wasn't for Fthis I would've probably been stuck on Lost and Found like an asshole. Also shoutouts to Kaotic, Akeon, Valeraine, Darklexa, Pickly, and many more for selling me Alexandrite at a cheap price. Thank you everyone! Time to DRK all the things! If someone had traveled back in time two years ago to tell me I’d make Tupsimati before Burtgang, I’d have said they were crazy. However, after soloing the overwhelming majority of Therion Ichor on SCH and doing so much on the job in general, I changed directions before I started turning in items. Hooray for being able to do things out of order. What an amazing three years it has been! Decided to finally hang up my *MAGICAL* poroggo suit and move on from my adventures in Vana'diel...but, not before snagging a few screenshots. Of all, I have to post this one! It is missing Lillianriana who started with us...but I have to thank Darrc for dragging me into this void that is XI and convincing me way in the beginning it was worth all this time playing (it was thankfully). And Ru (Lillianriana) for making a really great friend who was always down to DRK stuff, where would I be without someone to pick on about DRK being horrible? And I have to shoutout all the peeps who ran through Sages, who have come to be really great friends to me on the game and off...whether they're still traversing Vana'diel or have moved on. And all the peeps at NU2 who further cultivated my remaining memories, thank you! And to the non-LS peeps who I have met, thanks too for an awesome adventure.
