Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. With the end of Vana'diel coming, I decided that I could not leave without getting this task accomplished, even though Relics really aren't worth much these days. Story time! Finally got some free time to get this done after so long. It is pretty rare to witness two relics (Amano/Yoichi) upgraded simultaneously on the same person. Conveniently had to do 5 instead of 10 kills for both Relics.. ^_*)y.. A big fuck you goes out to Velosareon! I am done with that bitch. Lets see what the future holds for the next relic magian trials.. Thanks to all that helped!Finally got some free time to get this done after so long. I know to many, this is irrelevant, since most people have 4+ relics, but to me, this is the first step in a 7 year dream, some of the bynes used were actually from back then when coins were 10x the value of today. It has been almost 7 years since I started working on Kenkonken, therefore I have way too many people to thank but I'll give it a good shot. Thanks to darkmagi and shadowkatze for helping with my last assault, Thanks to Amolak and snakeplisken for holding alex(a lot) for me, Thanks to Manuelbravo for many many selfless salvage runs(before the entry restrictions changed), Very VERY VERY special thanks to Windblade and Dastrian for: 1. putting up with my non-stop talking about salvage/kenkonken, 2. helping me whenever I need, 3. Donating money/currency they were saving for their relics(time to return the favor!). Mythic #2 :D I'll just say that i never never ever expected to do another mythic after that first 1 but hey, what else is there to really do that matters huh? Since Relics are a joke to make now mythics are the hardest to obtain.
