I haven't even packed it up, but I've had the image lying around for a week. For those who've been paying attention, I redid my HF and M set for EF. I wasn't able to port it and had to use a different base (used the one from my Gift Wrapped collection!), but that made it so I was able to have the body and the legs match up seamlessly so I did a couple styles (original and bared midriff shown, also made sets without the "bra" because people like that for some reason. I don't personally like it, but figured it was better to make it and have it be not 18+ than make someone request a nudified version ;;) When complete (need to add some polygons to the legs on a couple pants) this set will be available in all variations on Neko sentai and http://ffxidats.caarrie.org/ It will HOPEFULLY be up around the time servers are running again, but I've been short on time so no promises...I haven't even packed it up, but I've had the image lying around for a week. Reminiscing. I remember back in 05, I needed help with the Tower fight for AF Head, but no one in my LS was strong enough. I talked to a random guy about it, and soon enough he was taking me up the tower with a six-man party. I can't remember his name, but after a hard fought battle I was happy to finally complete the set. Fast forward to 08, I had been doing Dynamis, and (after two dc's as it dropped in the pool!) got the Abyss head from Xarcabard. I was happy again, and I felt a need to return to the tower, chill, and take a screenshot. I started using ffxiah.com in 2010, and my profile picture has been the one in the top right ever since. Eight years later, I finally updated the pic. I sit in the tower as we speak, remembering all the times anyone thanked me for playing the job well. Remembering all the times I gave advice to new DRKs, and the times when better DRKs told me off for doing it wrong. Yes, this is another DRK screenshot, but it's also a story, one I will continue for the love of the job. I get emotional sometimes, (and I'm a writer), so I guess DRK suits me in that way . What an amazing three years it has been! Decided to finally hang up my *MAGICAL* poroggo suit and move on from my adventures in Vana'diel...but, not before snagging a few screenshots. Of all, I have to post this one! It is missing Lillianriana who started with us...but I have to thank Darrc for dragging me into this void that is XI and convincing me way in the beginning it was worth all this time playing (it was thankfully). And Ru (Lillianriana) for making a really great friend who was always down to DRK stuff, where would I be without someone to pick on about DRK being horrible? And I have to shoutout all the peeps who ran through Sages, who have come to be really great friends to me on the game and off...whether they're still traversing Vana'diel or have moved on. And all the peeps at NU2 who further cultivated my remaining memories, thank you! And to the non-LS peeps who I have met, thanks too for an awesome adventure. Five years ago I started collecting coins, minus 19 months or so of random breaks and I'm finally done! My thanks to everyone who helped along the way with cheap currency and a big thanks to Splinters for the loan. Tis the season, a wonderful early christmas present but too bad I can't dual wield my Armageddon in the other hand! It's not 'hard to get' anymore but when I finally got mine last year I was estatic. This is a long-time personal goal of mine, but I have finally completed FFXI according to X360. And yeah, yeah. I know. Abyssea. 99 cap vs 75 content. Bleep bloop, bleep bloop. But I've been working on XI for 8 years so proud of this. Got to experience this game with a lot of people and had fun doing so. It's always nice to see damage like this but I'd be skeptical to think the upcoming REM update will make my SMN any stronger than it already is. It's moments like these which makes FFXI a special game. Where fans of the series can bunch together and overcome obstacles. We grinded for over a year to become strong enough to tackle what the game has to offer. We're not hardcore players, none of us are elitist, we don't show off and we always have time for those who need help. We win and lose like a family. When we lose, we come together to figure out why. I've always hated having to lead stuff, but these guys make it easy. I've always found the best group of players are those who do what you want, before you even thought of asking them too. They take it upon themselves to do what is right given the situation, and that's due to practice, it's due to listening. It's due to wanting the best for everyone there. We don't have a LS bank. We don't have a points system. We don't have hoarders, we pass items/gear to whoeever needs it most. And we're not closed off to the world, we'll take anyone who is willing to do what they can to win. I already said my thanks in our post in the Cerberus sub-forum. So when someone says you need to be on a populated server to make an Aeonic, let it be known that it doesn't matter how many players are on the server, so long as you can find a nice, small group of players who want to succeed, then anything is possible. It might take longer, but the journey is always better than the destination. We wear our Aeonics with pride, and we'll keep going as long as this remains fun. Peace out. Finally something came out of my fingers about my monk and her shining Spharai. Thanks a lot to my ls for this, more special super mega giga ultra thanks to my Bro and Little Taru .w. Never expected my monk to go so far when i started punch mandies in saruta, never expected live a such great human and brainless adventure when i bought FFXI, but those relic make me look at my first step in game, and i have no regret of the time i pased online doing brainless things huzzah. Finally something came out of my fingers about my monk and her shining Spharai. Thanks a lot to my ls for this, more special super mega giga ultra thanks to my Bro and Little Taru .w.
