Attempted Arch Odin (which is just named "Odin" like the original) a few days ago. The fight is much tougher but pretty fun. Five years ago I started collecting coins, minus 19 months or so of random breaks and I'm finally done! My thanks to everyone who helped along the way with cheap currency and a big thanks to Splinters for the loan. Tis the season, a wonderful early christmas present but too bad I can't dual wield my Armageddon in the other hand! I wouldn't say I'm a "casual", but I'm not a hardcore player either so I'm even prouder of finishing this. :-)Five years ago I started collecting coins, minus 19 months or so of random breaks and I'm finally done! Started FFXI after watching the new abyssea weaponskill video. Ukko's Fury looked to cool to pass up and I finally have the real version now. Big thanks to my friends especially Dharme for makin sure I finished it. Kodaijin for helpin me get past glav and itzpap before i could dualbox ages ago. Never doing that awful 90-99 stage again. I still can't believe I achieved this. I am so excited right now. It was a year ago I first started my journey, having quit in July, I never thought I'd be back to try and finish this off! Thank you to everyone that sold me cheap cinders, and for their support: Sechs, Tamoa, Failaras, Umbrat, Bratgurl, but especially you, Schizogamer. You have helped me out so much, I can never repay you enough. Thanks for believing in me, we did it. <3 I still can't believe I achieved this. I am so excited right now. ARRRRmageddon was my 'RME', made casually years ago, getting it to 85 seemed to take forever. Call it completionism, or just sentimental, reforging it to 119 today felt like a good way to honor the gun that brought me to more serious endeavors and the endgame of XI. If someone had traveled back in time two years ago to tell me I’d make Tupsimati before Burtgang, I’d have said they were crazy. However, after soloing the overwhelming majority of Therion Ichor on SCH and doing so much on the job in general, I changed directions before I started turning in items. Hooray for being able to do things out of order. Apocalypse 119 III. I finally finished it after starting so many years ago. Special thanks to my personal slave Nautika for helping me farm (gil for) over 9200 plutons in roughly 17 hours!! Seriously. Thanks to my friend Astri for all his help and motivation, he drops everything to help me even when I tell him not to! And honorable mention to Aldura for tossing me a stack of Plutons to make me feel better about buying 8 singles for 8.9million. Yeah. That really happened.... Thanks for everyone's support!
