Andy, Syagin, nothing the matter w/ teaching a child marksmanship. If y'all think there is, then I'll probably never be able to convince you otherwise. I like the bonding it gives us, as well as knowing he'll be able to defend himself if it comes to it.

Good for you. Teaching you're children about REAL guns is every parents responsibility. It's idiots like Andy, Sya, and Ken who's kids learn everything about guns from GTA and action movies that have the warped view on guns.

Was taught to use a semi automatic machine gun as a kid. I came out right nice. Kids got an eye there man.

This really isn't a big deal. Kids at all ages know how to use a gun, you just pull a trigger. Only complaint I have is you should have practiced on the basic circle targets or the zombies I been seeing lately instead of a human figure.

I have no idea what's wrong with some of the guys posting here, I think it's really nice that you're teaching your grandson how to shoot. Step back from the keyboards and think for a second people, kids have been going deer hunting as early as 7 for decades, so there shouldn't be anything at all wrong with a kid learning how to shoot a gun when there was nothing wrong with a kid using a shotgun all this time.

I will say though that I agree with Baozzer, probably shouldn't have used a human target yet... Let him shoot zombies or deer targets and move him up to humans when he's in his teens or something lol
