I've made some great JP friends on FFXI, and guess what, none of them ever said "JP ONRY" once. They made genuine attempts at communication and did their jobs excellently. The only times I ever encountered a "JP ONRY" they were always terrible, always.

I've had only good experiences with JP parties.

They don't take breaks every 10 minutes. They don't take breaks right after someone just got back from taking a break. They don't take breaks while fighting a mob and they are the healer/tank. They don't take 30 minute breaks. They don't take an hour to get to the location. They don't forget to change their subjob. They actually use food. And best of all, they have cooler smiley face emotes.

You are correct; that they use food at least. However, they'll use Sushi when they need attack, and meat when they need accuracy (lolaccuracyinAbyssea).

When it comes to an NA/EU player, at least you have a moderate chance of seeing a decently-geared player. JPs on the other hand, are poorly geared 95% of the time; they're horrid at a game their own race designed, and it's funny because it's true.
