SE stated when a topic of TH mechanics came up that THF getting the kill will not increase drop rates. TH takes effect when the thf has more then 0 hate on the mob. Also according to SE, more people in party/alliance = more drops.

Considering that fishing the Devil Manta requires 0 skill, and they managed to pull it up despite other campers there, and that they killed it, saying they don't deserve the Angel Skin is rather a brutal blow Snoopie, especially if they have no other fishing experience, like many of the people in my server that I know.

First of all grats on the skin and to snoopy it doesn't matter if your skill is 0 or 100 you can still pull up the manta, dumbass. As for fishing up rusty crap, if you cancel on one exclamation mark and only fish up three exclamation marked snags you will only get fish no items. That is all I am allowed to say, lol.
