An incredibly sustainable alternative to Minnows/Sinking Minnows for Hakuryu fishers. Especially now that the ships are being bought out on a regular basis. Since you can catch up to 3 Sardines at a time, and the bonus fish you get do not count against the 200 fatigue cap, you can make enough Sardine Paste to last you a couple days of Hakuryu for just about the cost of Earth Crystals. Cooking level 31 is needed to make your own, but that shouldnt take any longer than 3 hours to skill up from zero. Horo Flour can be bought from the Goblin NPC in the back of Muckvix's Junk Shop in Lower Jeuno for 40g each and Distilled Water is available just about anywhere for 10g a piece.
