I dunno, I should point out it's for earlier parties.
We had a sch Stoneskingaing and the dnc could DD and heal with ease. No I mean, any job that does not have haste (the spell) has no buisness main healing. Dnc and rdm work great in a pt. Dnc and whm work great in a pt. Hell you could even get away w/ smn. Pt's auto fail w/o a haster, ESPECIALLY with a dnc, since that opens up great potential.

I get asked for Minuet alot. I prefer 2x March for my recast(not 100% nessecary, though my brd gear/merits are fairly gimp) but I am easy to get along with. Madrigal though... I don't like to be ugly, but plz get alittle better acc gear or merit your weapon.

@Spence, me too lol, but my accuracy is awful due to not having pieces I need... (Diabolos earring now though :D)
@Veg I know what you mean, I love having haste on me at all times. For a situation where there is no viable healer though (it happens on shiva sadly) It's nice to use a dnc as main heal and then grab a whm / rdm when one becomes available.

Well I calculated my hit rate on greaters with the gear i've got atm, and it's @ about 70% on mnk. I still need a Rajas and I'd like to get an astrolabe, but that'll only up it a few more %. tbh I feel bad when I get invited to merit pt's on mnk because without usukane the hit rate no-matter the gear I have will always be annoyingly bad.

I'm sure you could find a smn in the mire or campaign willing to leave for 25-30k/hr lol. They eat up any type of pt invite they get. If you have a dnc, grab something with haste!

I love them, with Avatars favour and Ifrit out, the DoT is really nice.
Especially if they've got the new Magians staff with [ele] perp - and ballad x2.

How would a summoner main heal at a bird camp? With 114 healing skill capped and cure III, I find it a bit hard to see it. I'd imagine they could use avatars to help out too. Or did you mean in conjunction with the dancer curing and using Haste Samba?

Realize I'm a bit late but yeah, a good MNK/WAR using counterstance won't take that much damage from normal hits because of high counter rate, will mostly take damage from Flurry and with a Chakra set they'll heal it back pretty easily and let's not forget that we have other DDs in the pt that can grab hate if the monk is taking a beating. Sure, a good SAM/WAR will outdamage a MNK but there's nothing wrong with using one in a PT.

That being said, can use what you please, but if your acc is slacking then eat crab sushi or get better acc build (w/o sacrificing haste) or don't use it.

OK so.
DDs can play watching tv, scratching their balls and sniffing their fingers, eating, talking on the phone. No wonder it's a few ppl that can actually play mages on end game activities.
So I just made that thread to tell all brainless DDs out there to drink some intelligent potions and actually use what they got inside their heads.
For example, if you're a SAM doing Limbus or Nyzul Isle, make sure you switch up to Polearm when fighting Birds. It helps, you now.
Or even, when doing Nyzul, don't pull a Chariot on a damn corridor and expect us mages to heal you through the walls. And don't cry cause you didn't use RR.
There are so many things DDs make that makes us mages wanna kill them. So what do they do that grinds your gears? I'm sure there are a lot of examples out there.
