Given that artwork makes up half or more of an MMO's development budget, we're talking millions and millions of dollars on SE's part.
Yes :) and this is why FFXIV is coming out this is the main reason they did not port ps2 --> ps3. Sure you can play ff11 on the ps3 but it still the ps2 version of the game.
A lot of ppl was asking for a ps3 port so just trying to make ff11 work on ps3 and remake everything is just as good as making a new game.
