Naming Threads

Hello everyone,

For a while now we have noticed threads being created with thread titles that are excessively long, all caps, racial, etc.

We recommend titles to be short and to the point.

All caps will be unmained right away. Racial titles that are considered offensive should not be used, its going against guidelines.

Using the thread title to put your exact comment and your first post with "Yup", "^", etc. May get unmained.

We know the title is the attention grabber for your thread but everyone looks at threads anyways, so let's just shorten them and respect the other posters.

Multiple threads, mock threads, etc. Also get unmained. There is a search function, categories for threads, so let's also try to cut back on multiples. Also try making a generic title that can eliminate multiple threads.

We want everyone to have fun here posting. :)

In regards to the recent comically long title:

"Since subject titles have to be short and to the point I will try to be brief and cut to the chase here: ITT minxy girl."

Why are titles allowed to be 120+ characters to begin with? If it is a problem that titles are too long why not make the maximum length for titles 50 characters?
