Convert Gear And Sorc Ring Question

Ok its late and i got a quick question, i hear that sorc and minstrels ring can have there laten effect active while still being in white hp because the convert gear treats it as if the HP were still there. Is there any truth to this? for example, say i am wearing full zenith and have 250 convert hp to mp. if i switch gear its enough to put me yellow, will i still get effect when this gear is on?

Yes. If you take off all HP->MP gear and you are yellow HP but white HP with it on the latent is in effect.

Well wiki says "HP calculation uses maximum HP excluding all Convert HP to MP, Convert MP to HP and HP+% effects and the effects of equipment in the Back and Ring slots. See discussion."

But as you can see there is a bit of discussion on it.

I generally use the old info on stuff in non-visible slots doesn't affect the max hp for the calc but everything else does. Easy to test if it if it is active at certain hp with certain gear though. Dmg diff is pretty noticeable
