People shouting the merger is today in Whitegate. No purple text on my screen saying this. Nothing to make me think it's true. Sure someone probably already posted this like a bajillion times, but I'm to busy to research.

If it's like a server transfer then you lose everything you have at AH and in Delivery box (iirc). So I would doubt they would do it without announcing it first! Maybe we can keep our stuff in D box for the merge but I would highly doubt it.
I'm pretty sure it begins March 9th, or March 11th is the original date I heard.

It has not been announced yet. When it is announced you will be given links. People need to stop saying it is today or tomorrow. Updates always happen on Mondays it probably will not be until next week. Also you must remove everything from the AH and DB it has already been said that you will lose items that are not in your inventory or MH.

fyi square-enix probably doesn't even know when they'll do the server merges. it can be anytime between now and when they actually do it lol (stating the obvious)

There's a reason that most MMO and game companies say "when it's done." Because that's how these things work, and whining for a set date won't get you anything. Hell, Blizzard has a "when it's done" policy that's so famous, Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 have been in that state for going on several years now.

The original Everquest has 14 expansions and counting. As long as people keep buying them, there's no reason to stop.
Starcraft 2 is actually quite fun. Friends at Blizzard got me a beta copy.

So themerger is taking place when they do the update.As for the date they have not released the date of the update except saying mid march.

Originally, it had a phrase in it that implied that the merger was on March 9th, however SE has updated it since. Check the note at the bottom. The corrected it due to confusion.
The merger will happen soon (in March), but SE will let you know in advance just like all updates. They just haven't set the exact date yet.
